Cadillac has announced a couple of changes for its 2024 CT4. The unparalleled luxury sedan is currently in its fifth model year and has largely remained unchanged since its inception. Cadillac had previously planned a mid cycle refresh for its 2024 model year. However, the automaker has now stated that the refresh will not come with the forthcoming edition. Instead, there will be several notable updates to the current CT4.
The 2023 Cadillac CT4 at a Glance
Most of the features available in the current CT4 will carry over to the forthcoming year's model. There are three trim levels currently available in the 2023 version, with prices that vary from $35,040 to $46,465, and buyers can choose an all-wheel or rear-wheel drive.
The base model has a 2.0-liter twin-scroll turbocharged engine and an eight-speed automatic gearbox. Its most notable features include:
-
Wireless phone charging
-
A 12-way power-adjustable driver's seat
-
Lane change caution with side blind zone alert
-
Lane-keep assistance with lane departure warning
-
A rear seat reminder
The higher trims pack beefier engines, including the 2.0-liter turbo-four and a 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, which pair with a 10-speed automatic gearbox.
Updates to Expect on the 2024 Cadillac CT4
GM Authority recently reported that the next CT4 Caddy will have a minor facelift, resulting in a freshened exterior style and a more aggressive outlook. Chunky exterior styling will go a long way in enhancing the appearance of the luxury sedan, for it to look more like the performance car it is.
Another significant difference between the 2023 and 2024 Cadillac CT4 is the price. It should come as no surprise that the fresher model will be pricier.
GM Authority reports that the upcoming CT4 Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport trims could experience a $200 price bump. As for the two high-performance V-series versions, the CT4-V and CT4-V Blackwing, the prices will rise by $500 and $1,000. This brings the expected price ranges of the 2024 CT4 to between $35,990 and $66,065.
Other expected updates include a renewed front fascia, with an updated grille design and revitalized lighting features. The interior could likely get a number of changes, including a revamped cockpit and upgraded cabin materials, to perhaps emulate the updated 2024 Cadillac XT4.
The 2024 Cadillac CT4 Onyx Package Adds A Decklid Spoiler
According to GM Authority, there will be a few changes to the 2024 CT4 optional packages. This includes a new Decklid spoiler in the Onyx Package. Tagged with RPO code PDB, the optional package will have several exterior components that complement the visual appeal of the sedan.
Among these updates is a Decklid spoiler (RPO code 5V5), which will only be available in the Luxury and Premium Luxury trims of the 2024 CT4. A black spoiler will feature in the 2024 CT4 Sport trim.
Below is the entire content of 2024 Cadillac CT4's Onyx Package (respective RPO codes appear within the parentheses):
